Bobrisky, the focus of Nigerian youths

So I recently came across an article on ‘The
Nation online Nigeria’ and to say I was amazed,
is an understatement. it is a shame to see that
our youths took time to organize a protest against
LGBTs at the National Council for Arts and Culture
[NCAC] headquarters in Abuja. With all the
problems currently going on in Nigeria, Bobrisky
seems to be on the top of the list cos to think that
with all the kidnapping, rubbery, corruption, bad
roads, bad health system etc, [Bobrisky is an
Internet / social media personality who is known
to be a prominent cross-dresser in Nigeria]

According to the report, people that participated
in the protest were members of ‘The National
Youth Council of Nigeria [NYCN. These youths
went out last week with their placard-carrying
different inscriptions and calling out Bobrisky as
a very bad influence on the Nigerian youth.
The spokesperson of the group in person of
comrade Akoshile said “The Nigerian youths
were against all the activities of Bobrisky and ask
that NCAC, which is the custodian of Nigerian
culture and values to make a declaration on the
situation at hand.

The long and short of this story is that The
National Youth Council of Nigeria alongside The
National Council for Arts and Culture have come
to the conclusion that Bobrisky should stop
promoting LGBT in Nigeria or opt for the option of
leaving the Country.

This story just reminded me of the time that
President Buhari said the Nigerian youths are very
lazy! He said instead of focusing on things that
matter and relevant, they would rather make
noise and complain about everything. I must say
that on this note, I totally agree with
Mr. President.

Anti-gay extorter arrested in Nigeria

The Nigerian Police recently arrested a
Port Harcourt-based anti-gay extorter, Charles Henry
Chukwuebuka who was caught in the act while he
was in the process of trying to extort money from his
latest victim. This is one of the problems in most
homophobic countries, most especially when such a
country has an anti-gay law.
The victim, Narrating his ordeal, saying he was
lured by extorter who sent various erotic
messages after they connected and started
relating via social media. initially, he said, he
wasn’t interested in connecting with
Chukwuebuka in reality, but eventually agreed
after he was persuaded.
Upon his arrival at Chukwuebuka’s apartment in
Port Harcourt, at about 11 p.m., he was met with
Chukwuebuka alongside another young man
who demanded money of him and also tried to
get his phone off him, which he refused to hand
it over, The victim was then attacked by these
two men, who smashed his mobile phone and
also stole his money forcefully.
The victim shouted for help, which alerted
neighbors. Chukwuebuka told the neighbors that
the victim is gay and that he had come with the
intention to have sex with him.
Unfortunately for Chuckwuemeka, he had no
proof to support his claim. he had, on the other hand,
is the one sending erotic messages to the victim
which had been deleted. Their conversation was also
not available on the victim’s phone has it has been
smashed. this, unfortunately for Chukwuemeka led
to his arrest as he was unable to prove to the police
that the victim was gay.
On the flip side, I am guessing that if Chukwuemeka
was able to prove that the victim was gay, the victim
would have been the one to be arrested ignoring all
the offenses that Chukwuemeka might have
committed. however, I am glad that reverse is the
case this time and the victim was lucky.
